It's the time of year again for the annual Wanatah, Ind. Scarecrow Festival. This year's festivities will take place from 4p.m. Friday, September 24th through 4p.m. Sunday the 26th. Scarecrow Festival activities for the weekend include:

- children rides
- pork chop dinner
- fish fry
- pancake breakfast
- parade
- scarecrow sculpting
- 5K, 3K run/walk
- music/variety acts
- car show & toy show
- vintage baseball game
- Annual Softball Classic
