Two Fall Orchestra Concerts at Beach Coast Universities

Notre Dame Symphony Orchestra performance.

On Friday, November 5, the Notre Dame Symphony Orchestra will be performing its fall concert. The show will feature music from Beethoven's Symphony no. 7 and Egmont Overture; Grieg's Holberg Suite.

The concert will be held in the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center in the Leighton Concert Hall starting at 8 p.m. (EST). Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and $3 for children.

Also on Friday the 5th, Canadian Brass will be performing at Valparaiso University. The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. (CST) in Valparaiso University's Chapel of the Resurrection.
Tickets are priced: $40 reserved, $25 adult, $15 senior citizens, non-Valpo students, and Valpo students, faculty and staff.

This concert is presented by Valparaiso Community Festivals and Events and Valparaiso University Department of Music.

First Fridays at the Lubeznik Center for the Arts - Michigan City, IN

The First Friday event this month from the Lubeznik Center for the Arts is centered around the Day of Dead (or El Día de los Muertos in Spanish), a Mexican holiday in remembrance for those who have died.

At the end of this week, the Lubeznik Center will be celebrating El Día de los Muertos with refreshments, music and more this Friday, November 5. The event will take place from 5-8 p.m.
